Disclaimer - because I have to
I usually stand by my word and don’t get easily intimidated, but after a recent conversation with a friend of mine, I have become convinced that it might be a good idea to set a few things straight. Therefore, here is my disclaimer:
The content of this web site displays my own feelings, revelations, experiences, and opinions. I express my content as an individual, and do not reflect or express in any way the opinion and/or standpoints of my institution. Everything I voice, I voice as a private person, for the sole purpose of sharing knowledge with other people of my field, regardless of whether they work for the same institution or for someone else. This complies completely with the code of conduct of the Australian Computer Society.
I hereby state that I do not give away information that I deem confidential, or views of colleagues that they have expressed should be kept private. I also do not defame, bitch, gossip, or do other bad stuff behind people’s backs on this site. However, if it makes such an impression, please bear in mind that I am a fairly frank person and do not mean any harm
I am very aware that the very existence of this blog might be controversial, but I do strongly believe in people of a sector helping each other to improve the overall quality of services we can deliver as individual for a greater good.
If you do not agree, please contact me, and I am sure we can sort it out like adults
